Gail Carter developed her decisiveness and positive approach whilst working as a British Airways air stewardess in the 1980s. The lessons Gail learnt complemented her varied experience of how businesses and organisations operate. Gail’s skills were further enhanced whilst working at Momentum Consultants, a management consultancy which provided business culture change training/coaching and competency awareness. Gail continued to grow and learn and this made her an astute observer of commercial trends and she identified the need for a new type of business!
Business Support Services was launched in 2001 to deliver administration and relevant associated support to business people who needed the assistance of someone who would then become a practical, focussed member of their team, either on a long-term basis or to deliver specific projects.
As the business expanded and evolved Gail found herself working in 2 key roles:
* with senior management offering a totally unbiased third person perspective in a variety of target areas and ultimately leading on specific projects aiming at maximising the potential of the business
* with Sole Traders and SME’s offering business development support by creating practical systems to identify all areas associated with running a successful business
